i hurt my ankle a long time ago running and the pain keep coming back dont know what it is? inside of ankle not the outside part once weather changes it starts to hurt. why

I don't know how the weather could effect it,but inside of the ankle is one of the key areas you can develop shin splints.Assuming i'm right what i would recommend is to ice that area as often as you can especially after you run for about 15 min,and also add 500mg vit c to your 3 meals a day to enhance recovery of tendons,ligaments,and collagen.Shin splints can take some time to heal and also some times resolve quickly.Give it a go and be consistent with icing and vit c and let me know how it is going.
