I have a question about running and weight loss?

Question
So for the past month or so I've been trying to lose weight. I have been eating a virtually fat free diet (no oil, butter, cheese etc (though I'm still eating a bit of the stuff like avocados and nuts) and lots of beans and fruits and vegetables) and I play 90 minutes of soccer twice a week, have an hour of soccer practice once a week, and I try to run at a steady pace for roughly half an hour at least once a week. I tried weighing myself, but then realized that with all the muscle mass I've been gaining, it will probably look like I'm gaining weight, or at least that I'm not losing weight. So what I would like to know is, does this seem like enough to lose weight? It's kinda bothering me not knowing if this is working or not.
Thanks!

Answer
Hi Tasha
First Thing i know nothing about your height weight age or body fat percent to really evaluate properly, but all the exercise that your doing is enough to make good head way in reducing body fat assuming you you have the right balance of nutrients and calorie count.BTW avocados and nuts are very good for you and have a place in a well balanced diet. The biggest thing you have to get used to to achieve success is a great great deal of patience and a very very consistent workout ethic and over time you will be 100% successful if you don't quit. This is a life style that goes on for life which in turn eliminates the up and downs along the way.

All the best

John
