Question
Hi,
I am a 20 year old male from Texas(hot) and I am interested in starting a jogging schedule. However, I have not jogged in about three years and being that one of the consequences I am obese now. I remember all about jogging techniques and I very much enjoy it. I know about the healthy eating and drinking plenty of water; the basics. But I was wondering if there was a way (maybe exercise tapes, or a jump rope, etc.) to gain some endurance before I go out to jog. I usually do not have a lot of time on my hands so the faster I can get back on track the better. Anything you can advise me would be great. Thank you in advance.
Answer
Tony,
Do some jumping jacks daily inhouse, do some jogging in place, do some leg lifts sideways, fronts and laying on your tummy lift high as u can.
do some crunches to tighten the tummy, put your toes under the couch or chair and do full and halfs.
Make up a routine to get fit before going out to run or jog. Jumping jacks are get as are punches of one thousand and kicks as high as u can front and side kicks of one thousand if your not ready after a few weeks of this you will never be, i had to do this in Karate and I was fit and one belt below a black belt before Arthritis took its tole on me.
Work your own routine in house to inspiring music, do leg swings from laying on the floor to touch your fingers with arms straight out from your sides, lift them high, hold to count of five. Just work and make up things, I did and I was tip top shape.
Kind Regards
Patt
