Question
The arches of my feet, and less so my shins, are real sore for a few days after a long jog.I have been going for one every weekend for the last three months
My friends that I jog with think this is unusual because they only feel it in their knees.I only really feel sore in my feet. Can you reccomend some insoles or anything else I could try?
Answer
HELLO BARRY
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BEST PAIR OF JOGGING OR POWER WALKING SHOES U CAN AFFORD. I JUST BOUGHT MY DAUGHT TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR POWER WALKING SHOES, HER BACK WAS BOTHER HER, MADE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.
DO A GOOD WARM UP AND COOL DOWN. WHEN AT HOME SOME DAYS DO SOME STRETCHING EXERCISES AS WELL, U MUST KEEP THE LEGS AND FEET IN GOOD SHAPE OR CONDITION BY STRETCHING DURING THE WEEK ALOT.
DO LEG LIFTS, SWINGS, JUMPING JACKS AND GET GOOD SHOES, AND U DO NOT NEED INSERTS IF U SPEND THE BUCKS FOR THE BEST IT PAYS OFF. HOT TUB SOAKS AT NIGHT OF TWENTY MINUTES HELPS LOOSEN UP TIGHT MUSCLES AND LIGAMENTS.
MAKE SURE U DO NOT HAVE DEFECTIVED ARCHES WITH GOING TO A GOOD FOOT DOCTER FOR A RECOMMENDTION ALSO. I AM NOT A DOCTER BUT I KNOW SUPER GOOD TENNIS SHOES MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. INSERTS I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF U HAVE TOP SHOES THEY ARE NOT NEEDED. IF U HAVE LOW ARCHES OR FALLEN ARCHES GET A FOOT DOCTER TO RECOMMEND FOR YOU.
