hi
i would like to take up running in a club but i dont seem to be any good at running. i walk daily and go to the gym often where i usually use the cross trainer. when i do go on a treadmill i get tired very fast. i can only do about 2mins at speed of 10.3 , should i work my way up and am i doing it wrong? and how can i get better as soon as possible(is there a secret)? thanks for your help

if you are just starting to run the pace your running is six minute mile pace and no wonder you can only do two minutes.you have to build up slowly.when you can do thirty minutes confortable then you can start to pick up the pace and useing thirty minutes is a good time to star with an if you want to run longer use the same forula of running for longer periods at a easy pace and then you can pick it up.4.5 to 5.5 is a good place to start if you can cover thirty minutes easy.hope this give you a more comfortable experience.let me know how your doing.if you want a more serious program and go for it i do phone coaching all over the country and world.just go to my web site.
