thighs chafing

2016/7/22 10:13:47

Question
I usually run about 3 or 4 miles at a time, and my inner thighs always chafe real bad.  I could probably be running much longer distances by this point.  So what is better to run with, boxers or briefs?  Is there anything else to prevent it?

                         Thanks,
                             Quinten

Answer
Quinten,
Without a doubt it is better to run in briefs than boxers.  You might try running tights to reduce chaffing.  Boxers can allow testicular torsion (not something you want).  If you don't want to wear tights (you could try a shorts version) then try boxer briefs.
I hope that this helps you.  Best of luck.
Ryan
