Question
I've been running for 3 years now. For the 2 years I was in the army I ran 4 miles @ a 10 min/ mile pace every day except the weekends. Now I generally run 1 1/2 miles - 2 1/2 miles with 30 seconds of sprinting to 90 seconds of jogging alternations 3 times a week. I'm 6 feet tall, I weigh 202 lbs., 16% body fat and I'm 22 years old.

Answer
Hi Adam
The only thing i can think of is your starting out to fast.I have world class runners when starting out who are all most crawling 8 to 9 min.pace.Later there hiting  5:30 to 6 pace.I guess that puts you at 11 pace in the first 400.Give it a try and let me know how it works for you Adam.Your stats are fine.

To your success

John
