Boston Marathon and Weight Loss

Question
I am a 19 year old 5'4" 135 lb college student. I have been training for the past 8 weeks for the Boston Marathon (8 more weeks to go). I have noticed wonderful positive results in my endurance levels and muscle mass, but I have noticed that I have not "slimmed down." I know that I should not measure weight loss because I am building so much muscle, but it seems as though I have not lost much fat. I have been eating a relatively normal yet healthy diet (it's a little difficult as a college student). Can you recommend either a diet strategy or another cross-training exercise that would help burn more fat and "trim down" in addition to my running endurance exercises?
Answer
Hi Chloe
With your schedule you need a lot of energy,so forget the diet.Just keep up with what your eating now.I don't no your plans for a finishing time or your training scedule, but to enhance your finishing time and cut some fat,i would recomend a once a week long run of working your way up to as soon as possible 2hr.This will kill two birds with one run.Any questions just get in touch chloe.
All the best
