Question
What is a normal man's everage walking speed, if he has to travel 5 miles without any hurry ? Also can you tell me a man's average cycling speed if is not in any hurry ?
Answer
Sorry, I have no data to help you on this other than just a guess. I'd say about 2.5 mph to 3mph is an average man's speed ( I imagine if one was in a hurry, they'd run instead of walk fast.)
I also don't know of any cycling speeds, because each bike is different. Going hard on a mountain bike might get you 15 mph, but on a cycling race bike you could get 30mph-plus.
It all depends on gears, wind resistance, body position, etc.
Sorry I couldn't fully help you here, but its the best I can do.
