Blood blisters on ring finger toe

2016/7/22 10:10:44

Question
Hi,

Every time I go for runs/jogs of more than 3 miles I wind up with a nasty blood blister on both of my "ring finger" toes (the toe right before the pinky toe).  I have no idea why this happens?  I don't feel it while I'm running but it is extremely painful the next day.  Also, I tend to get a blister on my arch (both feet) after a long run (again, anything over 3 miles).  What can this be?  Are these symptoms of flat feet or some biomechanical issue?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Casey
This sounds to me like your running shoes are to tight and not leaving any room for your foot to spread on impact.Get yourself some new shoes and make sure they fit you properly.Let me know how that works. If you have other questions just get in touch.

All the best

John
