Question
SIR, I AM 25 YEAR OLD FEMALE. I HAVE A WEIGHT OF 56KG. EARLIER I HAD AWEIGHT OF 60 KG AND THEN I JUST STARTED MY EXERCISE REGIMEN OF RUNNING FOR 30 MIN EACH DAY WITH 45 MIN OF EXERCISES AND YOGA. AFTER REDUCING MY WEIGHT TO 56 KGS I AM HAPPY BUT I WANT TO REDUCE IT FURTHER. BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT , I GET TIRED SOON I CANT FINISH MY SCHEDULE OF EXERCISES . NOW I HAVE EVEN STARTED SKIPING MY DAILY EXERCISES.
I WISH TO KNOW THAT NOW SHOULD I CONTINUE RUNNING OR START
WITH WALKING REGIMEN SO THAT I DONT FEEL TIRED? HOW SHOULD I SPACE MY EXERCISES WITH THE WALKING OR RUNNING REGIMEN??
I HAVE A HEIGHT OF 5 FT 4 INCHES. PLEASE HELP ME??
Answer
Your main problem with your current strategy is that you're doing the same workout, every day. So, there's no adjustments in intensity for you, meaning no new demands to be met, and no changes to be made. I imagine your 30 minute runs are at the same pace, day in, day out. I would work on running shorter distances, but running them harder instead.
Check out my free guide, the Mini-Max Method, to help you out a little further on this. Especially look at the cardio section on it, that should help you understand why doing the same thing, over & over, won't work and won't give you the results you're aiming for.
