Calf muscle inflammation

2016/7/22 10:09:42

Question
Two months ago whilst bicyling I had an injury to my calf muscle. I now walk fast for about two hours. But, the inflammation is still persisting. Hence I am afraid of running or bicycling. When will the inflammtion stop? What exercises should I perform?
Thanks.

Answer
Hi Patrick
If you bike easy and relaxed and don't push of hard on pedals and stay off hills it will help the healing. Also cool the long fast walks. You have to just let it heal.It didn't get that way overnight. You can add 500mg vitc with your 3 meals a day and also take epson salt baths. Can't tell you how long, you just have to test the waters down the road.

All the best

John
