2016/7/22 10:08:19

Question
Hi,
I have some games coming up and im not sure how to prepare for fitness. what sort of excercises can i do that don't involve going to a gym or the use of mechines, and can be done at a park. i need to mainly focus on being able to sprint long distances aswell as run long distances.

Thanks for your help

Regards
Jeff

Answer
Jeff,
For some general conditioning workouts, such as sprinting intervals, I'd recommend my free guide, The Peak Minutes Plan, over at my site, http://asapworkouts.com  I have a general purpose strength training guide on there as well, called The ASAP Way, which may offer some insight on some strength training workouts for you.  I am not an expert on rugby, as its not really popular here in the US and certainly not where I live up in the midwest.

The interval training in the Peak Minutes Plan should be ideal for your needs to sprint long distances.
