Upper abdominal pain while running

Question
Good Morning!
I have things that I need help with...
The first is that while I am running, about a mile into my run I begin to have extreme upper ab pains. I am 22 years old 5'6, 124 lbs. I run generally every other day substituting cycling on the off days with one day of rest(Sunday). The trail I run on is a paved trail through mountain terrain. I run about a 14:30 two mile and generally run around 4 miles on the days I run. I have tried running at different times in the day and have been trying to keep hydrated but when I get into that second mile, I am having cramps that are making me double over for a second. I have tried slowing down and the pain is just as bad so I finish my run at my usual pace and as soon as I am done, the pain subsides, but just recently I have been getting diarrhea after I run as well. I have been running for several years now and have never had this problem before. I also exercise right after I get done running doing usually abs, chest, back and arms and don't have any problems then. Can you please tell me what might be causing this or if there is something I can do to alleviate it?
The second thing I need help with is lower back pain. Same thing applies here. The male I run with has the same workout routine as me and we have tried different shoes for him that provide different types of stability, arch support and pronation correction and nothing has helped. When he gets about a mile into the run his lower back gives him a lot of trouble. I am not sure if it has something to do with being kicked in his hip #which was dislocated) while he was in combat or if it is something we can easily fix. He was kicked a little over a year ago and hasn't had problems with it until just now, so we are not sure if that is what is causing it. He is 35, 6'1 and 220 lbs. He cycles every other day and runs on the off cycle days. He doesn't have any trouble while cycling and can do it for roughly 100 miles at a time. His abs are a bit weak, but they are better than they were before, so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it either. Can you provide some insight into what might be causing this?
Thanks!!

Answer
Hi Felicia, so great to hear from you both and i will work hard to resolve your situations
You have two real serious questions that i no for sure i can alleviate and correct, but the problem is that it requires a lot of asking many questions from the both of you to get the information i need to drill down and pin point the problem and provide the solutions to correct your situations.Let me ask you a question,is it possible that we can arrange a time that we can talk over the phone individually to get to the root of both situations?I would make my self available to the both of you 24/7 to arrange a call at your convenience to make this happen.I just want to make sure that the clarity of my information has the highest impact for resolving your problems with 100% success. The time difference from germany to here in albuquerque new mexico is aprox. 8 hrs.I think aprox 30 minutes individually would get it done.
I look forward to
your response
