Pain in knee

2016/7/22 10:06:56

Question
Hello,
Last November I ran a 1/2 marathon. I had been training for months, building up mileage and doing all of the "right" things. I have been a runner for years. Around mile 3 in the race I felt discomfort in my right kneecap / inside of my knee. I pushed through it to finish the race. I took 2 weeks off after the race and when I went to run again I had serious pain in that area of my knee.
I have been swimming 3x a week and doing yoga regularly, but the pain is still subtle but  there. I can walk/run for about 30 minutes but it's still there.
I would love some thoughts on this! I'm anxious to get back into biking and running.
