I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BEST PRE JOGGING/RUNNING MEALS OR SNACKS TO SUSTAIN HYDRATION & ENERGY THROUGHOUT A 5 TO 8 MILE JOG? ALSO, WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BEST RUNNING SHOES FOR OUTDOORS? THANK YOU, O.M

There is no magic food pre jogging running.The foods and hydration are what you absorb 4 to 6hrs before your effort and distance,Best is light foods.I personally run on 2 mugs of coffee when i wake up at 3am and go out the door for 1hr to one an a half hour. The best running shoes which takes some time shopping around for are the right FIT and the most comfortable case closed done deal.Forget the hype of all the advertisments and just buy a shoe that feels like a comfortable slipper.
