Question
I have been an athlete since I was real young. Started off with soccer but in
my mid 20's I started training for 1/2 ironmans. I am 34 and have Severe
Chrondromalacia, tendonites, Patellar subluxation. I have note been able to
run for almost a year. I have pain often times even walking. I have been
doing ok riding long distance on my bike. Just finish a 900 mile bike ride
and I was fine. My doctor said I should not go. When I returned the knee
started to hurt right away. I tried many things to help with the muscle
imbalances for at least 6 months and no change. I truly believe that this
isn't it for me in running. I have seen three knee doctors and all of them
said there is nothing I can do if PT has not helped. Can you help me. It feels
like sharp needles are getting pushed under my knee cap.
Answer
Hi Patty
I would like to advise you but i would need to ask you many questions to get the complete clarity on your situation to properly advise accordingly. What i would like to do is discuss this over the phone with you if you wish since getting my thoughts to you with clarity to take proper action is just to hard with email. You have a very complex situation and i want to make sure i give you advise that is very clearly understood.I do hope you understand.I take this very seriously.I'm in Albuquerque NM at 505 271 5909 any time of day is convenient.I'm quite confident you will run again.I have been through it myself and was my first client among the hundreds i have helped over the years around the world.
All the best
John
