Knee swells after activity

Question
I have been active most of my life, running track in high school, running
and exercising when I was in the army, aerobics, step aerobics, kick
boxing etc. I think I have had minimal issues with my knee swelling
occasionally after strenuous activity but I would just ice it or lay off it and
the swelling would go away. About 2 months ago I wrecked my knee bad
to where every time I do any pressure activity like running it will swell
behind the knee and takes a couple days to come off but it seems
something is still in there. The way it happened was when I was walking
around for a project door to door and I felt I twisted my knee a little but i
didn't think it was serious so the next day I was running in my treadmill
and after about 10 minutes of trying to push it my knee was hurting very
bad. I put ice on it and icee hot to help again it took a couple days for the
swelling to go down. I weigh about 195 and 38. I have laid off the running
but I walk a little to keep weight down with my diet but I can still feel a
little fluid inside when I squat. It's like a little fluid is still trapped in there
even with minimal exercise.
Answer
Hi Madeline
I really can't put a finger on the pin pointed cause since i would need to very much depth with an awful lot of questions.I would recommend that you put into google...swelling fluid knee...nd then research the many articles associated with your situation. It is going to take time, but if your patience i'm quite sure you will be able start pin pointing what relates to you.I'm sorry i couldn't be more help.If you want to call me here in albuquerque NM i would be happy to discuss this at length. This would be the only way i could zero in on your situation.Just go to my site for contact page.
All the best
