Upper Hip Pain

Question
I have pain in the uppermost curve of my left iliatic crest that feels like an intense pull when I stand and cross my left ankle over my right. It hurts every time I walk - mainly when I put weight on my left heel. There is no pain in my buttocks, thigh, knee, groin or back. It's a concentrated area of pain right along the upper portion of my hip bone and along the outside curve. I haven't been able to do any of my workouts (zumba, spin, not even my abs and especially no running) for a month and a half, but have noticed no difference. Anti-inflammatories have not helped it either. I'm attending physical therapy, but none of the specialists have been able to determine what it is and others on running forums that have similar pain have encountered similar issues with no one knowing what it is. Please help!! I'm dying to work out and run again!!! :(
