hip pain with impact

2016/7/22 10:05:39

Question
Hello, I am experiencing pain in my left hip when running when I make contact with the ground. I guess I'm considered a heel striker. There's no pain with flexion or extension or when I ride my bike to and from work. Only when running (and fast walking) and only on ground impact.  Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kristin

Answer
Hi Kristin
You are experiencing some tracking and alignment situations, but not serious which is also normal as you increase your program. It has nothing to do with heel striker. It is a common issue with individuals just starting out.The best course of treatment to correct this situation is up right stationary bike workouts for 45 min to 1hr 30 min as often as you can and add 500 mg of vit C 3 times a day to enhance recovery of tendon's ligaments and collagen with food.If you have other questions just give a shout out.If you want to call me here in Albuquerque NM any time for more clarity just go to my site for contact info.

All the best
