Question
hi there, i am 19 years old and im currently on a diet i also started jogging again recently, my goal is to lose some weight especially around my inner thighs!!  Would jogging help for this or should i consider something else aswell, if yes ,what??
i started doing lunges and squats too? would they help?? and what about rollerblading??
anyway i would to anything to tone up my thighs!! any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Answer
Hi Anna
First i want to say Anna i started out just like you 30 years ago to get back in shape, and yes jogging at a comfortable pace is ideal and gradually building up to a level you can jog for 45 minutes 5 times a week at a very relaxed comfortable pace. There is no hurry to make this happen just a goal of consistent easy commitment with a long range result which you feel is a level that you are happy with and the results get you very excited to strut your stuff and gain a level of confidence that really makes you feel comfortable with your body.Lunges and squats are great, but jogging is the A team to burn fat and shaping with definition.Rollerblading is fantastic and really focuses on those micro tissues in your thighs that create a real sexy look.Last question i would add 150 meter hill repeats gradually working up to 15 reps 2 times a week at about a 15 degree incline. These will really put real muscular definition in your thighs. The best thing is to build a schedule around these programs with 2 days recovery in between to avoid injury since as just starting out you have to make sure you have proper recovery.I would add 500mg of vit c 3 times a day with food to enhance recovery of tendons ligaments and collagen from the stress of your workouts Anna.If you have any other questions Anna just give a shout out.

To your success
and commitment
and great results

John
