Can you set me straight on a bet question?

If I bet X dollars on horse to win and it does. Do I collect the win amount plus my wager?

No, the payoff stated is the amount collected for a $2.00 wager, not PLUS your $2.00 wager. For example, if the payoff is $11.20, and you wagered $2.00. you would collect a total of $11.20, not $13.40.
