Horse career

Hi my name is chelsea and I been tring to find a way to graduate in somthing to do with horses and where I live there is no place like that. I'm also in the 10th grade. Where would be the best place to go to school, graduate and have a career on horses?

Hi Chelsea:

The University of Arizona offers several courses in horse racing and horse care.  Kentucky also has some colleges and universities that offer similar courses.  You could also get a job on a local horse farm and learn the business from that end.  Additionally, sales companies (that consign horses at major sales throughout the country) are always looking for people.  You could go on the Internet and contact them.  Finally, any local racetracks and/or veterinarians could probably offer you work and experience.
