Answer
hi -- well when you want to enter a horse in a race, you go to the condition book for the track you are racing at and look for the day you want to run . you enter usually 24 hrs out. you go to the secretary office and go to a entry clerk and pick the race you want to go in. then you enter the horse ,take all of your weight allowances you can get, and take any other weight off you can , like riding a bug boy you can get around 5 more lbs off. if you are entering a female horse, you can also get 3-5 more lbs off, if she is entered against the boys. you now pick the jockey you want to ride, then you sign the entry blank and the horse is entered to run. hope that helps you thanks ED HESS
