Question I have heard that the horse breed selle francais can race agaist thoroughbreds and win is this true?
Answer The breed is mainly used for showing and show-jumping and some of the best show jumpers have been of the Selle Francais breed. They can race but do not race in thoroughbred races.
Any horse could potentially beat a thoroughbred although it depends on how fast/slow the particular thoroughbreds happen to be.
