Regarding Entry #7 Sanger Silver

How is this horse eligible for these conditions and/or how was he eligible for his last race?? ...after showing two wins in N1X?

Hi Jay:

Thanks for your question - I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to reply, but I work at Oaklawn during their live season and don't always have time to check my email every day.  We had a crowd of 34,000 plus on Saturday and Sunday was a good solid attendance day also, so I was a little tired this morning and slept in.

Although this question is a little outside of my expertise, I have sent an email to our racing department to see if I can find the answer to your question.  I looked at the pp's and history of "Sanger Silver" and see nothing that tells me anything about your question.  I looked at the results though of the 5th race yesterday and see that he ran second and paid $13.60 and $4.20 and took a large share of the track purse ($15.340).  

While I am waiting for the racing department to reply, you might want to contact the racing department at Santa Anita and ask them the question - you might hear from them before you hear from me.  The condition book is very complicated to me, but I'm sure all owners and trainers that deal with it every day are very knowledgeable about it.  If you know any trainers personally, that would be another way to get your answer.  A few of the trainers that bet with me so I will keep my eye out for one to ask also.  D. Wayne Lucas bet with me Saturday and I chatted with him for about 2 minutes - wish I had known about your question then, because I'm sure he could have answered it.
