exercising horses on dead track

Question
dead track
dead track
hello sir. this is a serious question regarding exercising a horse on dead turf track. hope you can answer it.

sir, is it a risk exercising a horse on dead track? actually, at our local thoroughbred racetrack, we have got 2 grass tracks which are racetracks. july to october is MONSOON season and we race the horses on outer grass track. from november to march, we race the horses on inner grass track and this season is called WINTER. our trainers got a new idea of removing the rail between monsoon and winter when the WINTER SEASON is on and train horses on the dead MONSOON track as the crew doesnt water the MONSOON track. so, is there any risk for horses and riders working on the dead turf track. are there any chances for the horse to stumble?

i have attached an image showing a dark green track as the WINTER track and the faded light green, the dead MONSOON track. the black one indicated is 3m tarmac road for track judge, ambulance to move.

Answer
hi  well a horse that loves the grass should handle the training well over a dead type grass track.  a horse that is not a grass lover may not be able to train over the deep wet grass surface as well and then they will stumble and trip when galloping.  if you are not sure of how they will handle the track then i would not gallop them over a dead track , that way you will not injure the horse. thanks ED HESS
