hello sir. may i know how can i get to know that i should put on a shadow roll on a young thoroughbred racehorse?

Shadows rolls have many uses for many reasons. Reasons to can range from....
a. blocking sight for horses looking at shadows on the ground (hence the name)
b. block sight for horses who spook by seeing their own feet reach out in front of them.
c. urge a horse who carries his head high to lower it to gain vision.
d. block debris from striking the horse's face and possible protect their eyes from dirt kicked up by horses in front.
e. can simply just block visual distractions to keep a horse focused like blinkers.
These are most common uses.
