planning to become a jockey at 23
Question
QUESTION: hello sir, i had a childhood dream of becoming a thoroughbred flat jockey. but, my parents didn't accept and now i am 23 year old boy standing 5 feet 6 inches and weighing around 66kgs. can i become a jockey in your country as my age is more than 16 years. i will surely cut down my weight to 55kgs.
ANSWER: HI -- YES YOU CAN BECOME A JOCKEY IF YOU WANT TO . YOUR AGE WILL NOT HURT YOUR CHANCE TO BECOME A JOCKEY. YOU WOULD NEED TO GALLOP FOR A TRAINER FOR SOMETIME BEFORE YOU COULD APPLY FOR A JOCKEY LICENSE . THANKS ED HESS
