         Thoroughbred racing is the most popular sport in Australia. It is a multi billion dollar industry and is a very large employer. They have the second richest race in the world, The Emirates Melbourne Cup raced i early November for a stake of over AU$6.5m.

The futre of racing in Australia is very positive.
