Question
The horses name is Waynes Bid, He was trained by Frank Cleary in the late 1970's, started around Canberra then moved into Sydney racing and won many quality sprints. He won the famed Ramorie H'cap in the A.C.T but was disqualified when found to have been drugged. I have a super photo of the horse and would appreciate it if you located his racing history, Thank you. I am living on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Answer
Hi David,
I had hoped that your question would be easily answered by www.arion.co.nz however there records don't go back quite far enough. The details you want will be in the Australian Stub Book which should be available in any city library or at any of the bigger clubs. Often the racing scribe at your national newspaper office will be able to look it up for you. Try them and if you don't have any luck then I will try to find the info for you through some other sources.

Regards,
Don Boddie
PS: Tip; Rangirangdo in the 6th at Sydney tomorrow.
