Question
What does it mean when at the bottom of the conditions for a race (Races where entered for $7,500 or less not considered in allowances). My horse has always ran at or above $7500 and then the race prior to this one it was dropped down to $5000. Is it still eligible for this race?

Answer
Hi Jay:

Thanks for your question - Some of those conditions for cheaper horses can be confusing. I'm guessing that your horse is eligible or the racing office made a big mistake.  But I'm also thinking that it is probable that your horse does not qualify for weight allowances.

Check with the racing office and they should be able to tell you.

Thanks again for your question.

Jim
