GM 5.7 Volvopenta..4700RPM

I have av 25' Regal Commodore.  Recently repowered with a 5.7 volvoPenta after having a 5.O.  I top out at 4700 RPM and wonder what pitch prop I should have. Currently a 17.

Every boat reacts differently, and every operator has certain expectations they prefer to achieve. For example, are you looking for a prop that would be more efficient for water skiing/water tubing, or just cruising?

Frankly, I recommend you experiment with various pitches and diameters, in order to determine which one meets your objective. Keep in mind, that new motor will likely affect performance, so its anybody's guess.
