Boat Auctions
Question
I'm bidding on a bank reposed boat. Its a silent auction. I want to come up with a bid price that satisfy the banks pricing guidelines with out overbidding. Because its a silent auction, I don't know what other bidders are offering. How can I submit a realistic bid?
Answer
Hi Larry...thank you for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.
First, your question is not informative, i.e. the yr., make & model of boat, and type/size of power it has, so I'm not in a position to properly answer your question.
Secondly, avoid silent bids. In most cases, you're buying a pig in a poke and pay more than it's worth. Consult reputable boat dealers.
