starting problems

I have a 95 Yamaha 25 horse outboard that starts great but run it and shut it off it will not start . Pulled plug it has spark ???

First of all, I'm not a mechanic. However, you didn't mention any symptoms associated with how long the motor was in operation, such as was water was being ejected from below the powerhead, or if you encountered any reduction of speed throughout the voyage. In other words, it could be the impeller is failing, or there might be some sort of water intake restriction, or there could be a problem with the coil or fouled spark plugs. Have you checked out the electrical aspects or any other components I've mentioned.

In order to attempt to properly analyze the situation, you need to consult a local qualified and reliable marine mechanic who will likely ask similar questions.
