2. Adjust the bike seat so that it is at the right height for you. You should be able to sit on the seat with your feet flat on the ground.
3. Start by walking the bike with your feet on the ground. This will help you get a feel for the balance of the bike.
4. Gently push off with one foot and start to pedal. Keep your feet close to the ground and your body weight centered over the bike.
5. Keep your head up and look where you are going. Don't focus on your feet or the pedals.
6. Pedal smoothly and gradually increase your speed. As you get more comfortable, you can start to lift your feet off the ground and pedal with both feet.
7. Don't be afraid to fall. Everyone falls when they're first learning to ride a bike. Just pick yourself up and try again.
Here are some additional tips that may help:
* Wear a helmet and other protective gear to help protect yourself in case of a fall.
* Start by practicing in a straight line. Once you are comfortable riding in a straight line, you can start to turn.
* Practice riding in both directions.
* Be patient and don't get discouraged. Learning to ride a bike takes time and practice.
