Can you ride a 50cc dirt bike in lane?

While dirt bikes are licensed to be ridden legally on public roads in most states, they are not considered to be street-legal vehicles and therefore cannot be ridden in the lane. In most states, dirt bikes are only allowed to be ridden on private property or in designated off-road areas.
