Touring Partners?

I hope to be doing a large cycling trip across the country next year. I would like to go with at least one partner. How do you think I should go about trying to find others who are dedicated and willing to bike long distances?

I would recommend going with one of several tour operators that run cross country bike tours. There are several that run tours usually of less than a dozen people.

If you want to do it on your own then I would contact the League of American Bicylists (http://www.bikeleague.org). They can probably help put you in contact with other cyclists who might want to travel with you. They can also help with routes.
