winter biking

I sweat terribly in the winter because of extra layers and being on s.s. can't really afford fancy clothes,I thought about heavy sweatshirts with a slit up the back for venting,what do you think?       rich

I don't think that will work. I would check the major supply houses like Bike Nansbar or Performance for clearance or preseason sales on clothing for winter riding. You might also check local clubs, they sometimes have swap meets etc.
