Longest Bike Ride

Question
I am a senior at shaler Area High school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My classmates and I are making a book of intersting questions. I was wondering what the longest travel by bike is in 24 hours. Thank you for your time and answering my question.

The closest I could find was this web site:

The only thing that bothers me about this is the only listing they have for John Howard is the track record he set in 87. Yet I rode with John in the early 80s when he rode around 500 miles in a road loop thru Central Park in NYC (I didn't ride that much but was with a group supporting John). So I'm surprised that isn't listed. But that page should give you what you need.
