hi, have you got any answer for dealing with pursuing dogs when cycling.

Pedal faster!  

Seriously, generally you have two choices. Stop and stand still or try and outrun them. Dogs chase cyclists because they are moving. Generally its a game to them and they have no intention of harm. So if you give them a wide berth you will be OK.

There are sprays you can get that will usually send them inthe opposite direction. You can even try spraying them with your water bottle.
