second hand bike

Hi Michael,
I am a very beginner cyclist (never had a bike before) living in the center of a'am. Can you, please, suggest
1. where should I buy a second hand bike (budget of around EUR 250)in A'am and
2. what type should I look for? (maybe you know a shop with helpful workers)

Hello Anna,

First, welcome in Amsterdam. You can buy it a marktplaats. nl, but when you don't have the experience into our sports, it seems to be better to go to a local bikestore like Lohman or Kaptein.
But I don't know at this moment if they have anything in this pricecategory. Also you have to find out what kind of a bike you like to ride. A normal bike, sports or even mtb, race or a beachcruiser.
