Answer
Dear Carl,
Your questions are beyond the scope of this site. You are asking for a lot of information, some of which, I would have to see you and work with you personally to answer properly. What you need is the book and tape that was sold during the mid 1990's. I think they are still available on amazon and/or ebay.
Since you don't have a VHS player (I don't either anymore#, you just need to take the VHS tape to Kinko's or a similar type store and ask them to convert it to a dvd format. Then you'll have all the information you are seeking.
I don't know exactly how much Kinko's would charge to convert the tape to a disc but it shouldn't be much. And the book and tape are very inexpensive on ebay.
The HSS is very similar to Natural Golf. I've seen websites where the two methods are compared and analyzed. You might Google search and see what you find.
Since your ultimate objective is to learn a reliable way to play the game #rather than specifically learning the HSS) you should also consider the other golf instruction information out there. For many years now I have followed the teachings of Homer Kelley. He wrote "The Golfing Machine". In my opinion, this is the best breakdown of the golf swing ever written (even though it is highly technical and difficult to read).
I wish you the best in your quest to learn to play the game better and hope my answers are helpful to you.
Sincerely,
Paul Dolman
