hello... i was curious to find out how high does the typical golf shot fly in feet?  example... from ground to ball at its peak.

Hi... someone with a very high clubhead speed like Tiger could hit a ball up to 100+ feet in the air.  I am sure he can do 150+ feet if he had a teed up lie and swung as hard as he could, but usually in tournaments, hitting the ball as high as you can is not done unless you absolutely have to, so no one really measures that kind of stat.  It also depends heavily on your choice of club.  The lob wedge is designed to hit the ball the highest, but some pros may be able to hit a driver higher only because they can have a higher clubhead speed with it, as well as if hitting into the wind.
