Hi there... The type of clubs you use are mainly personal preferance and depends on your ability and build.  The best way to get accurately mesaured is to go to a local major golf shop or a local club fitting shop and get measured for the proper set of clubs for your statistics.  The maximum number of clubs in your bag cannot exceed 14.

Colored balls, yellow, pink, or whatever color, are usually lower quality balls.  However at your level it should not matter too much, but for most levels, the type of balls used is mostly determined by your budget.  It is always receommended you use the best balls, but some players may want less spin and more spin, or just more distance.  So you should also ask your club fitter that questions as well after he has analyzed your swing on the monitor.
