Rule about immovable obstruction

Question
A green has several sprinklers located on the fringe.  My ball lands off the green but in a area I wish to putt from, except a sprinkler head is in my line, Do I get relief or am I forced to chip it?

Dear Russ, thanks for the question.  Incidentally, I just answered this exact question recently.  Unfortunately Russ, you do not receive any relief in this situation unless your stance is affected by the sprinkler. There are no provisions to allow for putting anywhere but on the green.  Sorry on this one...thanks again, good luck and remember...
