QuestionStanley:
A question to possibly point me in the right direction when it comes to a new golf driver.
When it comes to hitting woods/drivers of any kind, I seem to really feel comfortable hitting my Adams Tight Lies 4-wood. I'm not sure its the shape of the club head (longer/thinner compared to just BIG and round) but seem to be able to be much more consistent with it than any big-headed driver I've tried.
Of course, though, I really want to be able to hit a driver off the tee as hitting first due to using a 4-wood compared to my other partners drivers is getting old.
Suggestions on what type of driver might fit my swing pattern/ease comparing one to the Tight Lies 3- or 4-woods?
Thanks!

Answerhello steve and i will be glad to help you purchase a new driver. it is reasonble that you prefer to hit with the 4 wood off the tee as you seem to hit it with better consistency and most importantly, you just like the feel of it. i can gurantee that you are not the only one going through this phase. however, 4 wood is really a different club from driver. it weighs a little more and the look and the feel of the club is VERY different. so in a nutshell, you are not exactly going to find a driver with the familiar feel of your 4 wood. however, there are drivers that you may want to give a try. cleveland hibore launcher. i believe that this club is the driver that feels the closest to hitting a 4 wood. you might also want to try callaway fusion as the feel of this driver is also similar to the 4 wood. i also recommend trying out nike sasquach as it is long, flat and narrow in shape.
i hope i was able to offer some help. but my best advice is to try as many different clubs that is possible and decide which ones you like the best by the feel, look and of course, price. good luck and if you have any further quewstions, then let me know and i will be glad to help.
