Golf Tournament Format

I help host a charity tournament each year; scramble format.  This year we wanted to offer a twist to it by having all teams begin the tournament at the blue tees.  If a team birdies the hole, then they move back a tee box on the next.  If the team pars the hole, then they stay on he same box on the next hole.  If the team bogies the hole, then they move up a tee box on the next hole...par three's excluded in this.  In Texas, many charitable tournaments are starting to do this and the golfers seem to have a blast with it.  Would you happen to know the name of this kind of format?  Thank you.

No, sorry, I don't know the name of the format.

It might be something like "Scramble the tees" or "Scramble by tee" or "Tee Scramble".

Try doing a google or yahoo search.

You could just name it one of the above. There might not be an official name for it.
