Ball heads left

John, I have just purchased new clubs and in the shorter irons the ball consistently curves slowly left of target, most noticeably in the 7 iron. In the longer irons the tendency is less obvious. This was not a problem with previous irons and no major change in my swing. Club face appears more closed on address than old irons. My new irons are senior flex so not sure if this is a part of the problem. Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm not really sure exactly what to tell you, other than it's probably not the shaft flex.  I think if the shaft was the culprit you'd notice it more in the long irons.  The only thing I can think of without seeing you swing is that the ball may be a bit too far forward in your stance. Try backing it up an inch or two and see what happens.
