Direction of leading hands V
Question
Hi,
You say the v of the leading hand should be pointing to the leading ear and the trail hand to the trail ear with a neutral grip??. Is this correct????
As I had a pro tell me to use a strong grip I think only as a quick fix for a slice.??
I will attempt the neutral grip and flat wrist tomorrow .

Answer
Sandy: Essentially that is correct. What matters is the back of the leading hand and the palm of the trailing hand be perpendicular to the target line. The Vs will be close to what you described.
While several things can contribute to a slice, making your grip stronger may very well be all that is needed to correct it. People who don't have the time or inclination to practice alot sometimes need those "quick fixes".
If you do have the time and inclination, you'd be much further ahead of the game by copying what the pros do in regards to set-up, grip, bend, knee flex and distance from the ball.
Let me know how you fair with the neutral grip.
